*NZXT Gamma

*Quote:* Placed in the Classic Series, the NZXT Gamma is akin to the Beta and Beta EVO chassis. Characterised by a simple, yet effective, layout, all three of these cases are designed for the more mainstream market due to their affordability at around the £30 bracket. This is not to say the Gamma is a standard black box and front panel though , as with the Beta, it offers visual character that sets this case apart from similarly priced enclosures. However, the Antec Two Hundred is still very much king of the hill in terms of budget chassis the NZXT Beta, although well-intentioned, couldnt quite deliver to the extent of the Antec enclosure and so it would appear the Gamma has been launched to put this right.

NZXT has an extensive case lineup, and the latest product in their Classic Series for the value-conscious user is the Gamma chassis. At first glance, the case looks quite striking with its all black interior/exterior, which is becoming quite popular these days for gaming cases. However, affordable and practical do not always go hand-in-hand, but weve seen that NZXT typically manages to strike a balance. The Gamma is trying to continue that trend with its features and design, without being too hard on the wallet. Lets take a closer look at the NZXT Gamma.

Quote: As a case designed to fit in the sub $50 market, the NZXT Gamma will fit the bill for a stylish, low-cost case. The all black theme, that is popular right now, is a point of difference between cases, as not all manufacturers paint the inside of the chassis. There are enough drive bays to keep the majority of people happy. While space is at a premium with large heatsinks, they can be installed. The Gamma also is designed to use video cards up to 10 inches in length, so the majority of the cards out right now will fit. Of course, the new behemoths from ATI will definitely need some persuasion and some modification to make them fit. Title: NZXT Gamma Review Link: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/nzxt_gamma/
