Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W Power Supply

Quote: The DC voltage load regulation is excellent but it is let down by what I would consider high noise/ripple levels on most of the rails, although they still met the requirements of the ATX12V V2.2 specification. It should however be noted that the measured ripple/noise levels were taken at 104% DC loading, effectively an overload, but Im fairly certain there would be little if no difference at 100%. The efficiency of the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W is up there with the best and will certainly save a few pennies on the utility bills.

For as long as I can remember, power supplies have been coming to my load tester in the same old rectangular boxes. Once in a while the size of the box will change, but never the form factor itself. Thermaltake has dropped their latest and greatest into my lap today, and to my surprise theyve actually tried to do something different. The Toughpower Grand series doesnt just come in a regular metal box, it comes in a box with fancy rounded corners.
