Brother HL-3070CW LED Printer
Mar 8th, 2010 | By SimonThe front control panel is very basic but does the trick. The buttons are soft to touch and don’t make a sound when pressed. From left to right we have a Data LED, onscreen display, navigation panel, secure print, cancel and go button.

I would have liked Brother to use a better LCD display. The current 16 character monochrome display is only visible when viewed directly perpendicular to the screen. Even the slightest angle affects the visibility. That said, it still does everything you need it for and once the printer is setup you’ll rarely need to look back at the display.
The OSD allows you to view and change the following options:
- Machine Information
- Paper Tray
- General Setup
- Print Menu
- Network
- Reset Menu
- Color Correction
- Direct Print
- PictBridge
While data is transferred to the printer the display will show “Printing” and the Data LED will flash green to confirm the print job is ongoing.
