If there was one thing I learned from the Eagle Arion ET-AR508LR-BK 2.1 Soundstage Speakers, it is the importance of having a nice subwoofer to complement your speakers. The subwoofer really adds a new depth to the audio that you normally listen to. As a package, the system sounds great to a non-audiophile like myself.

I particularly liked the easy set-up and sound quality. These speakers are simple, with no fancy features, but they sound great. Although they have a few minor flaws such as short wires for the satellites and no satellite-mounted volume control, these can be overlooked for the crisp, clear sounds coming from the wooden cabinets.

Eagle Arion 2.1

Overall, I’m very pleased with the ET-AR508LR-BK speakers and would recommend them as a great upgrade over integrated speakers and such at a price that won’t break the bank.

    Advantages

  • Great sound quality
  • Easy to set-up
  • Remote included
    Disadvantages

  • Volume control is on subwoofer
  • Short satellite wires
  • No volume level indicator

I’d like to thank Eagle Tech Computers for making this review possible

  1. I saw these a Microcenter, they were by far the best sounding set of 2.1 speaker systems they had on display. They were much cleaner and crisper sounding than systems costing over $100. I was so impressed with the sound Quality for $45 that I told the salesman I wanted a set. He came back 10 minutes later and said they were out, my wife was so bummed.

  2. Hello there, Are you going to be publishing a follow up piece? My husband and me have squandered some time browsing over your web page and surprisingly enough you touched on some thing we were discussing only the other week with our accountant. We often notice ourselves quarrelling over the smallest of issues, isn’t it childish? At any rate we wish you best wishes from the Usa.
