OCZ 60GB Agility 2 SATA II SSD
Aug 21st, 2010 | By SimonThe Agility 2 SSD comes in a variety of capacities but the packaging will all be the same. The 2.5″ drive is tucked away in a slim package consisting of a cardboard cover and a foam cradle. The cardboard cover shows the SSD whose primarily colors are black, green and silver. A sticker on the top right indicates the drive’s capacity. The bottom of the package names four key features: High Performance Design, MLC Flash Memory, TRIM Support and RAID Capability. On the back of the package we have a blurb of the features and the specifications broken down.

Pulling out the cradle ,we can see the drive nestled in the package. We also have a set of screws, a sticker to tout your horn that you own an OCZ drive and installation guide. On the other side of the foam cradle we have the 3.5″ Desktop adapter bracket.

The drive itself doesn’t look like anything special. If it weren’t for the Agility 2 sticker it looks exactly like any other SSD on the market, a black metal box. The back of the drive gives the product number, model number and some handling instructions – don’t drop or press on the drive with your finger!

Opening up the drive we see a very busy PCB. In the middle we have the SandForce controller surrounded by Intel flash memory, 8 on each side of the PCB.

Before start our benchmarks we’ll have a look over the features and specifications.
Excellent review! I was trying to find a review between the Vertex 2 and Agility 2 and I finally found it
Now if you can do a Agility 2 in RAID 0 benchmark (compared to other SSD and HDD in RAID 0) that’ll be great
