OCZ 60GB Agility 2 SATA II SSD
Aug 21st, 2010 | By SimonSolid State Drives are becoming increasingly popular and manufacturers are churning them out like hotcakes. That’s great news for end users like us but how do you decide which model to buy and which manufacturer to support? For starts, you can’t go wrong with OCZ and their 3 year warranty. They also offer more than enough variety to ensure you have the capacity you need for your next machine.

We’ve done a number of tests and the results are clear, the OCZ Agility 2 with the SandForce 1200 Controller is a winner. The sequential and random read and write performance is spectacular. We achieved 285MB/s read and 275 MB/s write – this was with an operating system installed, not just when using the Agility 2 as a secondary drive. For those who want nothing but speed should certainly consider the OCZ Agility 2 in any one of the capacities ranging from 40GB to 480GB! With the aggressive pricing from OCZ, you won’t be disappointed.

- Advantages

- Disadvantages
- What’s OCZ got next for us?
I’d like to thank OCZ for making this review possible
Excellent review! I was trying to find a review between the Vertex 2 and Agility 2 and I finally found it
Now if you can do a Agility 2 in RAID 0 benchmark (compared to other SSD and HDD in RAID 0) that’ll be great
