No fancy packaging is needed for the 1050 Micro. There is just a small product tag and a plastic hanger. Manufactured of polycarbonate, the micro case does have some weight to it but also feels very solid. Some 1050 Micro cases come with a carabineer however mine came with an attached lanyard.

On the front of the case you can see the latch along with the purge valve that allows air to pass through but no water making the case watertight.

The bottom portion of the case has a rubber lining that also acts as a seal when the lid is closed giving it the watertight seal. There is also a layer of impact resistant foam lining the top.

Taking a slightly close look you can see the slight lip in the top that helps to seal down on the rubber lining in the bottom.
