The 46B550 is packaged in a typical Samsung brown cardboard box with a large color label attached to one face showing a small picture of the TV and listing all the main features of the TV: Full HD 1080p, Energy Star compliant, Touch of Color, Wide Color Enhancer, 2 USB ports, 4 HDMI ports, Anynet and swivel base.

Once you’ve had a look at this face, there’s not too much more to see with the box. The other sides describe how to carry and unpack the TV and repeat a few more of the specifications.

Opening the package you can see how the TV is protected during delivery. The screen and base sit in a Styrofoam slot and the screen is protected by a thin foam bag. The base of the TV is wrapped with plastic to prevent scratches.

Also included in the box are a number of accessories: input cover, cleaning cloth, remote control, batteries, manuals and a power cord.

We’ll get to the screen in a little bit but first, we’ll look at the features and specifications of the TV.
