It is caused by electric system in your house. you do not have the ground. keep your hand on your wash machine, or another electrical an you will get a low shook.

I had same problem with my samsung p2350. but now it is ok
try one of this:
1 switch to dvi cable if you have the possibility. this didn’t t work for me but it reduced the numbers of shutting of monitor.
2 keep minimum 10 degrees C temperature in your room. Most of shutting downs where under 10. see manufacturer manual.
3 you may have a problem with the electrical system in your house. Change the electrical plug with new one. you may not have a functional ground so call an electrician to solve you. also I recommend you to use an UPS (Uninterruptible power supply).

I experience the same problem on my P2350 (Shutting off, self activating menu, etc.) This was caused by a USB connected Keyboard light standing close to the (very sensitive) menu keys. Don’t know if the problem was caused by warming up from the monitor keys or electric interference but when I moved the light away the problem was gone!

Same here – try recording a band with the screens dying on you!

dont buy these obsolete samsung monitors, why are they not launching the LEDs in India, still no sign, India the dumping ground for Samsung, It wants to dump all its old lcds here so seems the dont wanna launch new leds here….

I also have the same problems with the 2350P shutting itself off

one more thing. Now that my second monitor is gone… I have to buy new monitors. What should I buy????

I have four of these things and guess what… 2 have died on me, tho it took 1 and a half years. At first they would just go black and I could get them back, then they became totally unresponsive. I doubled checked to make sure this wasn’t a video card issue. It’s not. Don’t get these monitors. There are definitely people who have no problems with them, but as I have four and two are crappy, it makes me think the product sucks

I have had this monitor for a few months now and never had any problems with it.

i have the same monitor it works just fine no turning off or anything (except if i leave it alone for awhile but im pretty sure thats the monitors screensaver)
